Karst Genders and Sinkhole Sexualities

Following the xenogender movement, I am interested in gender invention as a possible methodology in queer studies, particularly regarding queer posthumanism/nonhumanism. I have created and identify with a gender called karstgender, based on landcapes that have features associated with limestone bedrock. These features include sinkholes, caves, pillars, poljes, and hoodoos. There are many karst genders, just as there are many karst landscapes. There are other non-karstic landscapes and genders that may have karstic features as well, such as melting ice sheets in Greenland. Associated with karst genders are sinkhole sexualities; other sexualities figured upon other karstic features exist as well.

I will eventually release more information about karst genders and sinkhole sexualities, and it is my hope to publish a piece that examines the role of these genders and sexualities in queer ecologies and queer geology.
